Terranigma Gaia Edition
I just went and finally looked at the special Gaia Edition if Terranigma and all the things that come with it, including a cloth map, music box and a soundtrack. It's a very cool release.
Now my question to my fellow TerraEarthians: If they were to produce a rerelease of Illusion of Gaia and Soul Blazer, what would you like to see in their special editions? What items and cotchskies do think should be included?
For Soul Blazer, I think a reprint of the soundtrack, maybe cloth map if the overworld. There was a strategy guide that was printed for the game for its original release, I wouldn't mind having an English translation of that guide. I feel like Strategy guides are a lost artfom. A music box that plays Lisa's Song would also be a neat thing to have.
And if IoG? A reprint of the shirt that came with certain copies of IoG would be neat. World map, soundtrack. Maybe Wills flute and a little booklet on how to perform some of the songs? A red jewel might be neat.

"Oh, if you see him coming get away if you can. Just keep on running, run as fast you can. He's a dangerous, dangerous man. And he's out tonight. And he's watching you. And he knows your house. Ki ki ki ma ma ma. No, don't turn out the light. Yeah causes hes back. He's the man behind the mask. And he's out of control." -Alice Cooper

I'd probably go bankrupt for it LOL

Oh it's so obvious for Soul Blazer. It's gotta be a plush Turbo right?psychokind wrote:haha first thing I thought was the flute, too
maybe a plush piglet? a world map in some form would be obvious.
for sould blazer a soul in some form, maybe one of those 3D-pictures in a cube if you know what I mean?

The plush pig, a plush Turbo, world map, flute... yeah, I'd lose money on those. Soundtracks would be nice too like they have in the Terranigma special edition because whew the SB soundtrack is EXPENSIVE, and IoG never had an actual OST release. Artbooks too, if they can swing them because I love seeing concept art and stuff.

Soundtrack for sure. A map would be great. I would love a book, but with Jeremy Parish no longer at LRG and the future of Press Run being kind of iffy, idk if they have the sauce to put together anything like they did for games like Neo Geo Pocket Color Selection.
I like the idea of Hamlet or Turbo plushies.
Honestly, I think the Gaia Edition is a bit overkill, but I've ordered a lot of stuff from LRG, and their merch is not great quality. I ended up passing on the Gaia Edition, partially because it's just a lot of stuff I don't need (and I'm not as attached to Terranigma as SB & IoG), but also because I spent a heck of a lot of money on Ocarina of Time and Metroid Ravenous.

Re: Terranigma Gaia Edition
Oh, yeah, the new soundtrack from the expo that happened is also like, a stupid amount, but the first one they did is an even more stupid amount. The artbooks and stuff from that expo are also ridiculous in price (I've been looking). I've wondered if I could ask my friend in Japan to look at Book Offs for me lmao. I could probably get it cheaper that way but also... tarriff prices, ugh.psychokind wrote: Fri Oct 23, 2026 4:28 pmthe CD I bought for way too much money from japan for the Terranigma anniversary is like tripple the price on ebay now in Germanyinferiare wrote: Thu Oct 22, 2026 9:56 pm The plush pig, a plush Turbo, world map, flute... yeah, I'd lose money on those.
