|

Okay, here's the scoop. I am currently developing what (in my opinion) is the most kick-ass and user friendly website management tool ever to be constructed.
Now, I've already implemented dozens for features that I found pretty useful. I'm basically designing it because I used to custom build a news system and such for every website I made. That takes up a lot of my time. So I started thinking about 1 universal system that allows you to manage any website, at any time, in any way. Completely with the ability to have a news system, things like blogs, event calendars, image galleries etc.
Now for the survey part, because I'm not (just) here to promote my idea, no!
For the people that own and manage (update) a website, my question is:
What are your greatest pet-peeves when it comes to managing, updating, changing your website? And what would be an awesome solution for that? Your solution doesn't have to be a technical one, but just a description of the way you want it to be solved.
I really hope to get some responses to this and that this doesn't instantly become a ghost topic. Of course no one is obligated to reply, but still, I'm hoping people will o.o _________________ ... Well, when I still updated my craptastic Sailor Moon fan-website, not being able to remember certain codes drove me up the wall, and the fact that I occasionally forgot to close some tags would screw up everything for me.
There, not a ghost topic. _________________

Well-laid out CSS files.
Whenever I try to edit the CSS files in say - wordpress - or something like that it's all garbled and not very well organized.
File #'s.
I prefer to have my PHP scripts spread over as few a files as possible.
Some ph-peeves of mine.  _________________

Lack of money to do much beyond what I have. Not having HTML knowledge. >D

Also, lacking the money for a .com, considering they'd want like 1,500 for this one. -_-;
To add to it, the host isn't all too good, either...
