I can't believe I did it, but I completed ActRaiser 2 a couple of days ago.

It's not a very popular title due to its difficulty level and some parts near the end of the game are very evil. I actually beat the 7 bosses leading up to the final boss in a single level to get the "final boss" password which, for some reason, doesn't lead back to the final boss battle and instead sends you back to the beginning of the level to play the whole thing over again.

Eventually, I managed to beat the final level in one go. Overall, the game was hard but not as hard as people make it out to be and it's also much better than it's rumored to be.
