Confusing Music Heads Up

Post Posted: Post subject: Confusing Music Heads Up

With the Beta out this Monday, I want to tip you all off to one little circumstance that you'll eventually run into:

You can choose your own soundtrack in TE:A, this you already know. However, to appease the various backgrounds and sidestories of all you folks who provided them, certain songs remain constant throughout the game no matter what soundtrack you choose.

You will mainly run into for Character and Character-specific dungeons and town themes, but also during certain events and in Southerta Island's Arcade games.

On that note, the pirate ship shooting mini-game which I have added recently will feature the music of Alestorm, the Pirate Metal band (Wenche's and Mead... God I love that song!)

Also at the Euro Theatre you can listen to concerts which preview some of the songs from each soundtrack type. You can also get mp3s of these (yes there is an in-game mp3 player built into your inventory) .

And as you probably already know you can at any point in the game go to the Tower of Babel (using the portals in every major city or on the World Map) and change every setting except your difficulty.

Any other questions, let me know. More updates to follow.
