QWOP
Play this game. Beat it. Printscreen your best score, or post a video if possible. And for crying out loud if anybody finds out a way to beat this game let me know. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

Woo, 5.8 meters. It was 6.4, but I tipped over backwards.
Also, I got -1.8. I'm impressed with myself.
I'll keep trying. _________________

oh balls. flipped over at 65.4m
it's very beatable, just takes a lot of patience. (as in, crawl along in a really painful-looking position going about 0.1m per second) _________________

I was kind of shimmying along on my kneecaps for about 9 meters, but slowly tipped over on to my face.
I'm sure there's some kind of rhythm to this, but balls if I can figure it out. _________________

Oh god, this game. If you can get a good rhythm going, you get the most awesome music ever.
I've never beaten it, but my roommate (who is lazy in posting but has signed up, so for good measure we'll just start calling him by name. Maybe he'll be like Beetlejuice and come out?) Polybob? Totally has. Halfway through you have to clear hurdles and damned if myself and a friend weren't laughing hysterically at him while he did this.
However, this is the best thing to come out of qwop ever and it makes me laugh even harder. _________________

I'd so love to hear it, if the game wasn't so stingy about what constitutes proper running form. Besides watching me scootch along on my crotch like some deranged halfbreed of Michael Jackson and Pete Townsend being set to Chariots of Fire would be 1000 times more epic than any masterful run sequence. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

45.9 meters. I got a phone call and it it threw off my entire rhymth. Pretty much, if you get his right knee down and the left foot forward straight, you can hit Q once and W to balance him out, and shimmy all the way until the end. So, possible, but entirely up to patience. _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. Yeah beating this game actually took forever and to do, but after watching a few YouTube videos and fiddling around with the controls I used a knee-balance, propel-by-kicking strategy that worked really well for me until I hit 50 meters when a hurdle appeared, I knocked it over and figured I'd push it with me when by some miracle it started melding with QWOP until it left his body like a turd. To finish with more knee-kicking. I've tried a few times to finish this by jump-running (I saw it on YouTube) but I just can't do it. |

oh my god i didn't have to use the beetlejuice method!
Yes, this would be true. I watched him do it. And laughed when the hurdle appeared. _________________

If you want a true game to frustrate you. I recommend QWOP... for the Iphone, you basically rotate your fingers on two control sticks and usually you end up simply jogging in air. It gets worse though, in order to access all the games of QWOP (Yes there's more than one) You have to prove you can go farther than 10m. I can finish the basic run, but forget the rest of the events. |
