So, I have been lurking around this site since about 2011, so I figured I may as well make an account. I guess I should tell you about myself. Uhmm... I'm 19, my only real hobby is writing(i suck at it). I listen to a pretty wide variety of music(yeah, I know everyone says that).

I guess that's about it. I look forward to meeting all of you.

Hello there! It's fairly quiet around here now, but don't let that deter you in the slightest. A lot of people check here every day or every couple of days (I'm usually around daily for admin stuff at least!)

Reading some of your stuff though, and I pointed it out to one of the other members who enjoys horror/creepy stuffs. You're not bad at all, I'm enjoying what I'm reading.

Greetings fellow horror enthusiast! Welcome to the boards. We are eternally attempting a resurrection of the old days of activity and new blood is always good for that! I'm Jason Tandro (aka Micah, aka FearAddict, aka that name you see every god damn place you turn around these boards).

I took a look at your work (I'm the one whom our dear kween made mention of in her post). It's not terrible, it's rough. You've got a good sense of what makes a story interesting and worth following, you know how to develop tone and atmosphere. Those are the crucial parts of writing effective horror. If you can get your technical aspects to match the raw talent you display you could be a power house, and as it is with all writing, it just comes with time.

I'm the author of this piece and I have my own creepypasta channel . It takes a lot of time and when I started writing horror I was rough too. Again, it's natural. Unlike skill though, talent is something you either have or you don't, and you do have it, so don't feel discouraged! You're off to a great start.

Wow, thanks to both of you for the warm welcome. Glad to know my writing so far is not completely god awful. I really expecting anyone here to read it, so it means a lot to me.

By astonishing coincidence, I actually stumbled on your youtube page just yesterday and had no idea that you were the same person! I love your channel, your holders series narrations are awesome, and I'm crazy excited for the continuation of social experiment! I'll make sure to check out Ahriannah's site.

Oh sweet! Yeah a lot of folks are just discovering me thanks to Social Experiment (and the guys at creepypasta.com plugging it!) I appreciate your kind words as well!

I'll be keeping an eye on your work. If you end up putting out something in my usual time range (I prefer the shorter pieces) maybe I could do a narration of it, with loads of plugging to your site of course!

i glimpsed through your work as well. i agree with jason that you're on a very good track. i think you've got a great sense and the simplicity does add to the eerieness of them. keep it up!

Now that I'm now with 100% more reading done, I can say I like your style! I do writing as well, though it's not on the horror scale (I'd be predictable and not spoopy at all) so I enjoy a good creepy story. I can always attempt to give general writing advice too, so if you ever need any, shoot me a PM.
