It's been 7 weeks since I started working at the accounting firm, and studying my final set of exams. Wow, where has that time gone to?

Anyhow, that means it's now just 2 short weeks until the very first of those exams in Personal Tax (bleurgh) and another week until the next, in Business Tax (much bigger bleurgh). Next week will be mostly revision and going over example exam papers, the studying is mostly finished (in PTax at least...there's still about 3 weeks of study for BTax, which we might not get done. But here's hoping)

Oh, and if any of you here ever think of hiring me as a financial advisor or an accountant....

...don't. Go find someone else instead, this stuff is HARD! xD

Good luck with your exams, and remember, if you ticked the same letter in your multiple choice test more than 3 times in a row, you probably answered something wrong.

Well this is an old thread, but it's mine, and this post is actually going to be relevant, so I don't feel like I'm necroposting. xD

Since last year! I have continued to work at the same accounting practice, and have passed 5 of the 6 exams to get my accounting qualification. The final module takes the form of a written report (about 5000 words long) analysing the flaws of a fictional company in a case study.

The maximum time allowed for the completion of the report is 6 months. I actually got a 1 month extension because I thought that I had already missed the deadline and so I had stopped working on it (plus health issues). The 7 month deadline was up tonight, midnight.

I submitted my final report at just after 9pm! W00t! xD

Now I just have a 6 week wait until I get my result...let me now begin...
