Weekly Poll #3: Favorite Season

With tomorrow being the first day of Fall, let's go ahead and do a seasonal poll.

For me, it's always a toss up between fall and winter mainly because halloween occurs in the fall. But ignoring the best holiday ever and looking at just the season, I love snow, chilly winds, and all the good that comes with the winter even if its joys are getting less joyous in my adulthood.

I agree, but I'm gonna go Summer instead.

As the melancholic Goth I was years ago, I enjoyed everything from Fall on, but t nowadays the joys of Winter end after New Years Eve, and then (to me) it's just excruciatingly wet & cold months of no sunlight.

On the other side, I really bloom up in Spring, I celebrate daylights saving time, and I managed to make the most out of every single summer in the last couple of years! So the 2 months before and after summer solstice are my favourites, but I enjoy Summer a little more than Spring, simply because of the music festivals I go to.

Well like Jason, I too was torn between choosing Autumn or Winter.

On the one hand, there's Christmas (I'm sorry Jase, but this is best holiday ever, not Hallowe'en).

On the other hand though, at least here in Britain, Christmas is now in Autumn, not Winter. Really. (Winter is more Jan-Mar, creeping into early April!)

So yeah, I voted Autumn for the peacefulness of the cool, damp rainy season, and for Christmas.

Fall for me. I like the colours outside, and the weather is mostly pleasingly temperated. also, when it rains I can stay inside and play PC and my wife leaves me alone

on a side note: when I was in Australia for 3 months over christmas, it really made me sad that there were no weather changes. and it takes a lot to make me sad.

Fall! Spring too, but that's because I rarely see those as seasons Seriously, where I live? There aren't seasons, just hot or cold most of the time. I like when it's not too hot/cold, but more temperate. That only really happens in Fall/Spring.

I really enjoy Fall/Autumn right now. Foggy nights, brown leaves, and as long as it doesn't rain or get too cold, I'll be happy.

I can see myself enjoying a quiet walk through a yellow and red glowing forest, the silence with the birds being already away for winter
