I don't remember if this was ever discussed here previously. We've had a few debates over the years about the 9/11 tragedy... but I don't remember ever having this brought up.
After learning about MKUltra and Polybius (which more info can be found about that here) I turned my attention the JFK assassination. There has been many theories over the years, a lot of conflicting reports, including a 1978 study that proved at least four shots that day, conflicting with the Warren Commissions finding of only three.
After sitting through a few documentaries, some of which are filled with interesting theories, some with outright outlandish claims, I found this clip. It kind of startled me when I saw it... well take a look for yourself. Another Assassin Caught On Camera?. It's from a longer documentary called "The Day the Dream Died," which is also available to be viewed in its entirely on youtube. This one focuses mostly on facts, and lets the viewer decide as to what they want to believe.
So, what are your thoughts on the JFK matter? Think Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, or was there a greater conspiracy at play?
I want to see what everyones thought on it is. I do believe something was covered up, there was some sort of conspiracy which may very well have involved the CIA (Which Kennedy was looking to disband) or maybe the Mafia (who JFK and RFK were cracking down on) or maybe even both (since the CIA was using mafia men in plans to assassinate Fidel Castro).
I will say this- Lyndon Johnson declared that the records of the case be sealed for fifty years, which was to be this year. It was later extended to seventy-five years, which means the American public won't have the whole truth until the year 2028.
There's a whole lot more to this which I won't get into as it would take hours for me to type it up. It's a very fascinating story to read about/watch documentaries on, although I will warn many of them contain the fatal head shot and graphic images of the autopsy so be fair warned if you decide to watch any. So, thoughts? _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. I think conspiracies have a shelf life. I know there are some people who like to talk about JFK still, but more people are talking about the more modern conspiracies like 9/11.
I honestly don't know much about this one. I did watch that Polybius video and I found that very interesting, but I've never really known much about JFK. Honestly from what little I've heard about it I've thought that it's been pretty much proven that there was more than one shooter. _________________ Current Avatar commissioned work by Seiken Arts.

There is a whole weird belief system for this shooting... going as far as having doctored photos to videos being altered to "fit" with government timelines.
And what you said is pretty much correct; a senate committee, using acoustics, was able to, with a 95% accuracy, prove that at least one more shot was taken from the grassy knoll area.
I never much cared myself until recently, looking back to this as a history lesson. Past actions dictate future behaviors. So, the lie about JFK can only mean the government will lie about anything, and have lied about everything. They lied about MKUltra, which only "officially" ended a decade after JFK's death, so what other things over the years has the government lied to us about? _________________ "...at first it's fine and you think you have a dark side – it's exciting – and then you realise the dark side wins every time if you decide to indulge in it. i think it's supposed to be this way since it's like that before there even was a language that had the word "govermnent" in it _________________
