I found this forum thread about someone who translated Gaia Gensouki, line by line from the original game. It's very interesting to see some of the translation changes when they translated it to English.

I've been playing IOG again recently, and even in the English translation some dialogue seems a little off. It always kinda irked me that when you got a herb, it said "You got AN herb!" instead of "You got a herb!"
