Characters
Along your journey, you will encounter many different characters. Listed here are a few of the more prominent characters you will meet.
Hero
A nameless denizen of the sky, serving under the Master. It is his duty to defeat Deathtoll’s minions and right the wrongs of King Magridd. At times he has been referred to as “the Blazer”.
Lisa
The daughter of Dr. Leo. She meets the Blazer early on in his adventure, and is more than willing to help him. Could there be hidden affection between them?
Crystal Fairy
A fairy spirit that resides inside a crystal. These denizens help the hero on his quest in many ways, including transporting him safely out of dungeons.
Chief
The village chief of Grass Valley. The Brown Stone is in his possession.
Turbo
One of Dr. Leo’s pets. Turbo founded the village of Greenwood as a safe-haven for animals prior to his death. Turbo was given the Green Stone to safeguard, though it is no longer in his possession.
Guardian of the Forest
This spirit guards over the land of Greenwood in Turbo’s absence. The Green Stone is in his possession.
Lue
One of Dr. Leo’s pets. Lue was entrusted with the Blue Stone, but when the Mermaid Queen saw it, she took it and threw Lue in prison.
Mermaid Queen
The Queen of the mermaid kingdom of St. Elles. The Blue Stone is in her possession.
Nome
One of Dr. Leo’s pets. Nome was entrusted with the Silver Stone. Through his insight, he attempted to warn the Mountain King about Deathtoll’s actions, but was instead thrown in prison for lying.
Gnome King
The King of the Mountain of Souls. Despite his stature, the King is often inconsiderate and narrow-minded. Despite the disappearances of his people, he refused to heed Nome the Snail’s warnings, throwing him in prison instead.
Marie
A doll owned by Lisa. Marie was entrusted with the Purple Stone. Marie is one of many household objects in Dr. Leo’s Laboratory that can move and speak as if it were human.
Dr. Leo
The famous inventor who was forced by King Magridd to build a machine to call upon Deathtoll. Wise and humble though he may be, his dedication to his daughter Lisa often puts him in unfortunate circumstances.
Queen Magridd
The wife of King Magridd. Despite her kind, yet proud appearance, the Queen’s heart is filled with more greed than even the King. She would go to any length to get what she desires, and it is speculated that she had more to do with the pact with Deathtoll than King Magridd.
King Magridd
A man whose heart is filled with greed, King Magridd made a pact with Deathtoll through a machine created by Dr. Leo. In exchange for one gold piece, King Magridd would give Deathtoll the soul of one citizen. However, when the kingdom was emptied and Deathtoll came for King Magridd, he realized the mistake he had made.
Deathtoll
The almighty King of Evil and ruler of the World of Evil. Deathtoll desires nothing more than the complete destruction of the world the Master created. Using King Magridd’s greed against him, Deathtoll sealed all the citizens of the Freil Empire away, including the King himself!
